Yeah, I agree. It'd be quite overwhelming, true, but...I don't know. It's a bit much. However, I would do horrible, horrible things to get Nine and Ten together for at least a couple minutes.
Horrible things.
(I also agree that it's very unfair to Matt Smith to introduce him this way, in a special which, per the article, "focuses on the Tenth Doctor")
Whenever I see these kind of specs I always say I'm 100% positive it isn't true for one very good reason. Christopher Eccleston will never do anything Doctor Who related again...EVAR. I don't care if it's for charity, he won't do it. The man won't allow anyone to ask him about the show in interviews for goodness sakes. It's just not going to happen.
As much as I'd like it to...just, no way. It's good to hear they're talking about doing something though. So another way David's "last day on set" really wasn't his last day as The Doctor. Heh.
I do not believe for a minute that they will show 11 before the Xmas special where we lose Ten. It would take all the drama out of it. Also using vintage film for those no longer with us just wouldn't work either. I don't know - it seems an awful lot of work for the CIN special - which after all has been TARDIS based and simple over the last few years.
I am prepared to be proven wrong but would be very surprised.

I kind of hope this isn't true.
But if they have a special with just Paul, Chris and David then I'd be overjoyed.

I'd much rather have a 5 episode special so each Doctor can have more time to shine.
(I think I'd rather it focused on the 8th Doctor losing something. Cause then you'd get 9, 10 and 11 all going "must not mention Tiem Wra")

Sister Yuy you make me ROFL.

Now might they do something multiera? I suppose they could, although it would be bordering on the repetitious given Time Crash.
