Ummm... I'm not sure what's not clear?

This takes place shortly after the fire in Lawrence, after Azazel has fed Sam the demon blood. Instead of John being completely lost at sea (re: what happened to Mary), his father, the Man of Letters, has popped in to educate him about "what's out there in the dark." And to join forces with him.

Add to that: HENRY HAS THE KEY.

Abaddon is pissed that Henry got away, and she's been waiting 25 years for him to show up.

If this is going to be a battle royal, Crowley and Lilith want in. Though Crowley can't resist the opportunity to tell Azazel he's a nit.

I love your Crowley voice here! You've nailed it. And I am sure that Hell is all a-twitter about the, um..change is plans that must be going on at this point. This is so intriguing!

Thank you! I think this is my first go at a Crowley fic - he's got such a specific voice, I wasn't sure I could corral it. But how fun!

Agggghhhhhhhh I want Crowley and Yellow Eyes in a scene together in the show damn it! How good would a Fredric Lane / Mark Sheppard scene be?! (Well pretty much as good as this, actually!)

Thank you! I've been wanting to do the next chapter with John and Henry, but nothing was quite clicking in my head. Then this morning, all of a sudden I thought, "Hmm. Why not see what the other team is up to?" I knew I wanted Azazel in there, and thought maybe he'd be talking to Meg.

Then Crowley barged in.

Yep, they're an unbeatable twosome! SO much fun.
