Poor Charlie! Even though she has read the books, she has NO idea what she is involved in. At least she has her "big Brothers" to watch out for her now. This was a fantastic story. :-)

This is lovely. I adore how you write Charlie. Also, this line was an absolute killer:

You can lead a horse to a promise, he thinks, but you can't make the friggin' world let him drink in peace.

The Muse is really on fire lately, huh? Does she want to throw a bone my way? or a spark? Anything?

I think this is one of the reasons I like Charlie so much...because despite the badass exterior in her own wheelhouse, she is capable of showing vulnerability. And then, Dean of course, has a soft spot for her.

The Muse has gone bananas!! This latter half of S8... good golly Miss Molly. She's just all over the place.

People are fussing about Charlie being a Sue, and I just don't see it. Those scenes showing just how vulnerable she is - sobbing in Dean's arms. Gets ya right where you live!

I so love your sneak peek into Charlie's relationship with big brother Dean. And I love what she does to Dean, how she makes him admit his vulnerable side by being so kick-ass and vulnerable at the same time. To her, he doesn't need to prove anything.

It's lovely how they "get" each other, and are falling into a nice brotherly/sisterly rhythm together. Jensen and Felicia really have a lovely chemistry.
