I used the Misha icon because it would have even been stranger with my default icon. I can't imagine him doing something so... undignified as sniffling

The Muse was just in that kind of mood. Maybe post-Boston. But now that she's watched Misha's "Cooking Fast and Fresh with West" on YouTube... she may be cheering up radically!

Very nicely done. And somewhat prophetic, since I see this as exactly where, under its present guidance, I suspect the show is headed.

They will kill Sam permanently only if Jared would refuse to re-up. Same for Dean and Jensen. That said, there's nothing to say that at season end that one of them won't be sci-fi dead so that they can torture us over the summer.

Lovely piece and although I tend to avoid death stories I liked the poetry of this one.

Oh, I agree - and I believe both Jensen and Jared have indicated they're on board for as long as the ride lasts.

But yeah, sci-fi dead. Show's done it before!

That was terribly sad. But should Sam die, this would be a fitting way for Cas to take care of Dean. And, let's admit it, Dean needs someone to take care of him for a change.

Though I firmly believe that they won't kill Sam on the show - this show is about both boys and neither of them alone could create the Winchester feeling.

Oh, I agree - Sam's not going anywhere. Though I'm wondering how they're going to get him out of his present predicament without some more angelic healing.

Wonderful. And definitely in line with the way the season is going so far. I could see Castiel's character arc evolving like this, too. (Is going from angel to human an evolution? It would be with these angels, I guess.)

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Cas became human at some point. In fact, I think it would surprise me if he didn't!
