Painful, yes, but unavoidable! If you guys want to chip in and pay me to stay home all day and write, I'm amenable! But since RL is what it is, short bits is what the Muse and I can manage.

Tomorrow, if RL cooperates. If not, Friday. Then I should be able to do a chapter a day over the long weekend. I'm figuring maybe 6 more to go.

I used to have long stretches of vacation time I could use to write, for 7, 8, 10 hours a day. That doesn't happen any more, unfortunately. *sighs*

This is kind of the reverse of the show - Meg trying to find Mary to get revenge for her father rather than Dean and Sam trying to find Azazel to get revenge for their mom.

I so want Mary to walk through the front door right now!

I like that you're redeeming Samuel here after show did a number on his character this season.

For me the brief snippets keep me on the "edge of my seat" and ratchet up the tension.

I also like that Sam didn't completely give up hunting with Dean. Nice detail.

They *ruined* Samuel, pretty much. What a waste of a good character, and a talented actor.

Glad the "chapterlettes" work for you! I'd love to have the time available to do longer ones, but...RL has its demands. Work. Hurricane cleanup. Laundry. Ugh.

One thing you can say for Samuel, he's got determination down. No wonder Winchester boys are too stubborn to die.
I hope Missouri has a part to play yet- I imagine she's a little annoyed now. John's good for that;)
