SPN FIC - Nobody's Fool

summer_sam_love offered a challenge: a Sam-centric story featuring either Easter or April Fool's Day.  I've already tackled Easter, so here's the flip side.  Sam (age almost-12), Dean (age 16), a radio contest, and a lack of attention to the rules.

I had a blast with this! I could just picture Dean all wound up over meeting Johnny Depp, twitching his way through a dinner Sam (rightfully) figured he was entitled to. Poor Dean. *g*

If Sam fooled me into thinking that I was going to meet Johnny Depp and it turned out to be an April Fool's Day prank - a couple of movie tickets would not cut it! In my version Sam would be left alone to explain to the restaurant how he needed to work off $30 for dinner!

(Or maybe not - but Dean's much more forgiving than I am.)

But I don't think I'd forgive him about the absent Johnny Depp, either.

I'm an only child. I don't understand siblings. I raised two boys, and I still don't understand siblings. But this sounds pretty much like my kids.
