God this pulled the heartstrings. There's no way you can try to make losing and not even knowing a parent, be logical or easier in any way to a child. And Dean just struggling to find a way to fix this for everybody. Poor kid.

What a great teacher Colleen is though for knowing that there's more to them than just some kid with an attitude.

I enjoyed doing this - Dean feeling affronted both on Sam's behalf and his own, that they don't have that one small-but-enormous thing the other kids have, and wanting to strike a blow out of sadness and anger and frustration. Poor little guy.

I am growing to love wee!chesters! Little Dean....awwww-some! I liked this a lot, especially the little details with Sam's teacher :)

The wee!chesters stories really run the gamut - some are very sweet and schmoopy, and some very poignant and sad. I like to use them to explore how these two little boys turned into the men we know. There's a lot there to uncover!
