Second entry in my little small-town experiment that began here, with Eddie the thrift shop owner.  Outsider POVs, a collection of portraits of the residents of a small town that John brings the boys to three times: 1984, 1991, and 1998.  Every seven years, because there's something going on and he's determined to ... you know.  Kill some evil sons

I like the image of Dean and Sam cleaning up a little outside...and this line:

"You said you knew how to take care of a kid," she barks at him, figuring he'll flinch, but he doesn't.

"Just me," the younger one says

Very cute, and I love how Dean doesn't flinch.

I figure at this point, Dean's kind of accustomed to being barked at (and not reacting). Especially given who it is that's barking at him - not somebody he really needs to take seriously.

Thank you for another one of the Outsiders POV..
I love that this one dealt with Dean as Mr.Con Man, as Faye called him.. It's interesting that folks have nice opinions of the Winchesters.
