I feel really sorry for both him and Daemon at this point in the series. They are both just screwed up and screwed over by life, and believe they've lost the big thing they were living for for years. It's worse for Daemon, but we're given his POV in the series of the feelings he goes through at this point, and not Lucivar, so much.

And since I haven't read the series, if you ever feel like TL;DR at me about what's the deal with Daemon, I'd be curious to hear. Er.
