I have my icons back now, so I can comment! And oh such lovely things to comment on.

This is perfection. Seriously. I don't know how you do this, how you write these characters so perfectly, but you do and it is amazing.

This is absolutely everything that I think Kalinda is and it's all just so wonderful and achy and perfect. The worst kept secret and this: Grace may not the only one who’s lost, but today she’s the only one who gets to be found.

I had forgotten I requested this! And I can't believe I missed this and I am so sorry I did because I have needed this fic in my life and it was here all along. Every single last part of this was so lovely and well-written. You nailed every aspect of Kalinda that I love, all the faults and complexities and layers. Thank you so much for this. You are so incredibly talented!

Heh. What a great line.

Well, fantastic character study. Kalinda is feeling just a little less Sphinx-y to me right now and that's an accomplishment. The last chapter, about who gets The Phone Call is perfect in every way.

This both beautifully observed and beautifully written. And Kalinda is very very in character here.

The part about not making the phone call from jail is both gorgeous in terms of Kalnda's emotion about Alicia showing up and filling a plot hole for me. When legal aid dude was all " oh yeah, she was arrested" I was so "the fuh?"
