You write this so brilliantly. The emotions of both Callie and Arizona and what each character is going through, is so realistic. I can visualise it all unfolding in my head.
Great job!!

Great installment. Im glad they talked (unlike other tv versions of the characters who live in denial and then break up to go to africa). The whole time i was reading i was like - so so gay processing. how did callie never know she was bi before.
so mad at that tool dad. personal space much? Was it just me or were you kind of doing a grey's metaphor with that patient. Like when AZ was all 'calm down your kid has options and needs help and support right now' she could have been saying it to either toolman or callie.
this was pretty harrowing from all accounts for AZ. i hope next installment they can have more fun times.
thanks i loved it!!

I definitely try hard to offer that little bit of happiness whenever I can...in a story this intense, it feels sort of necessary.
I agree--I think Callie's feelings and reactions are totally understandable (and relatable...who wouldn't want to protect the love of their life?). It is a fine balance between protectiveness and being a little overbearing, especially when Arizona is already struggling to regain her sense of power and confidence. I did think Callie would be pretty unapologetic about her protective streak, though. She strikes me as that kind of person, you know?
Arizona will be meeting one of the other victims very soon. I'm still deciding how to approach the trial, though I obviously already know the outcome. :)
Again, thanks for reading and for another great comment. I appreciate the support, and the patience!
