So, I had a thought while I was singing a cat themed version of "Can't Buy Me Love" to my cat, as you doMaybe one of my problems with writing lately isn't so much "oh god, is my work important enough to be worth writing at all", but that I've got some deeper things to think about

I frequently sing to my cat. A favorite is "I love my caaat", sung to the few lines of "Jerusalem" that I know. We also did "Playing in the Kitchen" to "What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor"; "Let's Take Kitty for a Ride" to "Let's Go Riding in the Car"; and "All Curled Up in a Little Fur Ball" to "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star".

A frequent favorite around our house is to sing "Iron Cat" to the tune of "Iron Man". Nice to know I'm not alone in crooning to felines.
