I considered writing a story in French - I've been studying it since 7th grade - but then found out that they have a completely different tense for written stuff...and it's their strangest tense that I've come across.

French always did seem to be a distubinly hard language. The spelling is sooo different to the phonetics.
Though, apparently, French and English are the two languages of choice for Japanese students. Hopefully that doesn't mean that I'll have the same prob. when trying to write a book in Japanese. It's hard enough dealing with the re-arranged sentance structure.

A book in Japanese sounds very ambitious, but if it's fun, who cares?

Hi :) Yep, still in the land of the living.

Ambitious is always fun. I doubt it will ever be something publish-able, but it's more the journey than the outcome with this one. I have a story in mind for it but it's not the kind of plot that works in English. Honestly it seems more like a manga plotline, but I can't draw, so this is the next best thing. :p

I would have gone to chat, but my computer is really acting up. Of course, it is an antique (7 years old). With all the troubles I've been having this weekend with it, I think Tuesday it will go visit a computer doctor. I imagine a virus has struck it. :-( This is the first time since Friday I've been able to try to post a comment on LJ and I can't even access my email! WAAAAAA!!!
