So, I recently discovered a writing challenge somewhat similar to NaNoWriMo called A Round of Words in 80 Days. The challenge is a year round affair that allows participants to set their own goals. Glad to see you around and to know you're writing!
I write in bursts too, though in my case it is not really a matter of choice. I would be writing daily if I could. Work, my son, all the home stuff - they eat my time as you wouldn't believe. Plus, I get migraines that render me unfit for anything except lying around moaning for another pill

Anyway, glad to "see" you! 75K is a great challenge! I'm gearing up for Nano. I WILL be cheating. I'll plan the whole thing ahead and maybe even start to write. As long as I make 50K in November I don't mind bending the rules.

Wow, 75,000 words. You go, girl! I am looking forward to hearing about your progress. And, yes, you need to know your writing style and do what's best for you. This is just one of the reasons ROW80 is such a wonderful challenge.
