Written for iulia_linnea's HP Character Random Facts/Things Meme Fic Fest. I think this probably counts as crack!fic, because, well, who'd choose The Fat Lady as a character for the 20 Random Facts Meme? But that's just what I did, and I'm pleased with it. Oh, this is in no way crack!fic; it's beautiful, thoughtful, and funny by turns, and I find the way the "facts" sometimes wander as does the Fat Lady's mind very intriguing. I'd love to see fic for these.

Thank you for entering! *hugs*

That's lovely and sad. I loved the passwords and the way she kept circling around recent events and the uncertain future. And her soft spot for bad boys was so in character.

I'd never really thought about it before but, in a way, the Fat Lady counterbalances McGonagall as a guardian of Gryffindor. I'm sure between the two of them they know everything that's going on in the house.

I loved #1!! Great opening line. Very enjoyable read and rather in character, I thought.

This is beautiful - it starts off very light-hearted (love all the password humour!) and then gradually becomes increasingly wistful. Lovely!

One thing I noticed - I don't think you need the pluperfect tense in no. 5 - I think imperfect ("she cried", not "she had cried") will do here. When you use the pluperfect later on, it fits fine; it was just that it jarred for me slightly here. Just my opinion, though :).

I'm off home for the weekend, so am going to have a good go at reading through your fic! Hopefully I'll have some feedback for you early next week.
