Wow, I love the scene with Regulus. So exilarating. And the angst was great, plus Sirius being melodramatic was funny in a serious kind of way. Haha, amazing. I love it that you added Lily in the chapter, but kept Peter mostly out of it towards the end. :) Awesome!

Phew, I'm so glad the Regulus scene worked - it was so incredibly vivid in my head, but I had some trouble getting it down on paper.

And yeah, well done for noticing the absence of Peter - that was not entirely deliberate but I was glad with the way he turned out. I don't want to give too much away, but keep an eye out a) for the next two chapters, and b) the commentaries on them, in which I'll talk about that in more detail...

I just read through all of the chapters in an hour marathon, and I have two words for you:

This is bloody brilliant, I tell you, bloody brilliant. I'm so glad I didn't have to wait until July that one time because I simply would not have been able to. It's just so amazing!

One of the best R/S series I have read in a very long time. I anxiously anticipate more!

Hee, thanks! I always love discovering new fics - I did exactly the same as you last week with furiosity's Before Peace, and was so frustrated when I caught up! But hopefully there shouldn't be too long a wait before the next chapter's up.

I'm in my completely boring Library Technology class, and this chapter has just given my the boost I needed!! Oh, wow! I just couldn't stop reading, it was wonderful. Remus slowly falling apart...and everything is so canon, I loved it! Excellent job!!

Hurrah! Thanks. Canon is entirely what I'm aiming for - a kind of definitive prequel. So it's always a relief to hear that it's not just my canon...

*sigh* i love this story, but i'm sad. i'm such an idealistic optimist and i adore lovely, happy, marauders-era stories... but i don't like getting to the war, the point where james and lily die, and everything involving it. i'm so wrapped up in these characters, emotionally tied to them, their story, that i don't want to think about what happens later on. this is a wonderful, amazing story, and ties so well into canon.. a fabulous prequel... in the way we'd want to know it ;) but sad too... *sigh*

I know, I'm having such difficulty now I've got to this bit. Having been writing these characters for over a year now, I've become incredibly emotionally invested in them; a few weeks ago a friend and I were joking around with a Harry Potter Quiz Book, and she asked "On what day did Harry's parents die?" and I suddenly was incredibly sad, because that wasn't just "Harry's parents" anymore, but James and Lily... /ramble
