Angel sat on the sofa, a soft expression on his face. Cordy watched from across the room as that expression grew into a gentle smile. It was the smile she liked best. The one she knew was genuine because it reached his eyes. She knew only one thing caused that smile. Her. He was thinking about her.
She quietly walked across the room and sat down beside him. When hazel eyes met brown, it could only be described as tender. What she saw in his eyes nearly took her breath away. She saw love. Pure unadulterated love.
And she smiled.
