Angel sat beside Cordelia, who had just put the newborn at her feet to sleep. He handed her a box.
"What's this?"
"For you," he said simply.
Cordelia quickly tore open the package. She lifted the lid of the box to reveal a diamond-encrusted heart-shaped necklace.
"Oh, Angel."
"Fred was right," he told her. "You are the heart of this place."
Cordy smiled, all the love she felt for him shining in her eyes.
"But more than that, you have my heart. I love you."
"I love you, too. Happy anniversary, Angel," she told him, kissing him softly.
