The Digital World was in peril and she had classes to pass, but the only thing she could focus on was how dull she felt. An insensitive classmate had pointed out how unremarkable Hikari was with her unexciting hair color and her average eyes. Staring now in the mirror she was having trouble not being morose over the careless comment, and having even more difficulty convincing herself otherwise.
“Of all the things to be worrying about…” she grumbled.
