They were everywhere and they were beautiful; each one and everything they reflected. Clear little pieces of rock smattered over the floor of his apartment turning crimson as a red stream made its way to them. Was that blood? Who’s blood was that? Was it his? He watched carefully as the stream grew in size and expanded beyond the broken bits of a glass that once contained his Scotch.
“Come Aaron, it’s time to go,” the demonic voice spoke before searing pain hit his stomach as he was lifted. “Don’t go dying on me now, it’d be a terrible disappointment.”
