John and Elizabeth were spent, lying in each other's arms, enjoying their well deserved honeymoon.
"I think we need a lawyer," Elizabeth suggested.
"A lawyer?"
"I've been thinking... maybe we could change your last name. How does Mr. Weir sound?"
John laughed, "As good as it sounds, I'm afraid I can't. Military says I get to keep my last name and my wife has to adopt it."
Elizabeth's nose wrinkled from the smile he caused, "Could I still call you my personal Mr. Weir?"
John kissed her, "I'll be your Mr. Weir, as long as you stay my Mrs. Sheppard."

A/N: Okay, I have issues. I had asked my mom about this (if a guy could adopt a woman's last name) and then I thought of Sparky, and asked her if it could be done in the military too and she said no... and yeah, I thought of the drabble LOL Man, I have serious issues...
