Well, I was enjoying the episode until I realized that it was almost over and we'd hardly seen any of our boys. There were some cute moments, but I definitely did not get enough of them. Not nearly enough.
I'm disappointed. I'm transferring the ep from tivo right now. perhaps if I rewatch with less people around I'll appreciate it more. But this episode shows me how much the whole show would so not make it with our boys.
You know what's weird--I've seen a very divided camp. One person posted "WTF--how boring!" Another posted best episode of S3? How can it be the best of S3? What about Mystery Spot for crying out loud.
I'm totally brain dead. This was the first episode after the writer's strike, right?
It was a weird episode. The hand-held cameras were fine. It was just weird that there was so little of Sam and Dean. I felt like I was really just waiting for the real episode to start. The credits rolling at the end really made it feel like that too.
How could anyone think this was the best episode of any season? What a disappointment. Didn't Kripke say something about how much he liked this episode? WTF is right.

Yep, they are the core of the show on so many levels.
