Progress report!

Total:

5892 / 7000 words. 100% done, 70 dollars contributed!

This is NOT for NaNoWriMo. This is for the personal fundraiser post that I put up for the sake of the Pretty Bird Woman House women's shelter. It was burnt down by arsonists, it desperately needs donations so that it can be rebuilt, and I'm offering 1 cent per word for all the authors ( Read more... )

I know how you feel about this and how you've been trying to poke people to give their something for this and such.

And, I'd been wondering, what can I write? And pondered it and really wasn't so sure; not in the midst of Nano and other things.

So, I started writing. Once I get this done, I'll post it and link it to you and it'll be up to you on if it counts and such things; if not, just consider it something random for ya. If it's terrible, pretend I never wrote it.

I'll be back cuando yo fin.

♥ Savior seems to be trying to get everything of what's left, but if you write something specifically for this, even if I've gone over the 70$ I set aside for this, I swear that I'll make a donation. *nodnod* Because I really do want people to care about things like this, and writing is so easy and it takes bare minutes to write a drabble and it's for such a good cause. It's kind of frustrating when people don't do something so easy, and it makes me love everyone that does or promises to (you, ceresi, ego_chan, 9tails, pikachumaniac, Savior) so very much.

LOL I was going to try to get what was left, but my inspiration ran dry as I began to be all "worry-worry zomg" about it. ^-^ Okay, but if it's really crap than... >.> But yeah, I know what you mean. Writing is a good way to get people to perk up and at least be interested enough to find if they find that they wish to contribute (some way) as well. Even if it is writing, if they cannot (or don't have) give the funds themselves.

I just hope Diceshipping with Addiction is alright. Now, I better just click "post" and such, before I go through and edit and change and such, because it's far too late for me to be doing that ^^'

I've been mulling over the horrible fact that I don't think I could even write a coherent drabble, when I was struck with a very hobbit-esque solution at 4:29am. Expect a contribution from me either tomorrow (or within the next 4 hours if I'm feeling especially masochistic).

BTW, when you said Greek Mythology, you're not talking about "Greek Mythology: The Anime/Manga/Novel," right? (Am trying to figure out what fandoms would work for me since I don't know much about most of them--I've been away from Gravi and GW for a very long time and my HPverse doesn't really exist outside of R/S anymore...)

Hobbit-esque. I worry. And Greek Mythology as in the classics, don't worry! XD

It has been stuck to your door. Hopefully, it'll still be there when you get back (the sticky note isn't that strong).

My apologies ahead of time.

There weren't really that many rat-ons in there. I think it's brilliant. Well worth the $14.77 $21.85, now that it's got a third part. I'm thinking two more parts and it's done, but you should be neatly out of money by then.

I say you make this a tradition every time you have charity money, even if only a handful of people bother to do it. And not just so I can be smug about my totals, fantastic as they are.
