I doubt that they'll shut down but considering how much Six Apart sucks at running LJ, I worry about if any company could do a better job. Still, it's only a rumor right now. Nothing confirmed. So I wouldn't worry too much about that right now but I definitely do want to backup my journal to insanejournal, at the very least.

XD I only read his post afterwards (and commented with a thank-you-and-goodbye), but yeah, he's being very gracious about it. Then again, a lot of people pointed out that you just don't burn your bridges behind you when moving on. *definitely didn't think he was moving because of fandom, but did think that the timing might be what's keeping SA busy*

I wish I knew the truth behind the rumor about SixApart pulling out. I don't think it's likely, but even if it isn't, I want to know what started it.

Awwwwwww. I have a sinfest icon that's not loaded up here of the devil fanboy, who is my absolute favorite. (Argh, I remember that. I think I left you an F-wordful comment about her incredible stupidity and then never replied to your reply because I couldn't think of anything except how much I hated what she'd said.)
