I think it's not actually easy to write plausible Thelma/Ella, despite the slashiness of the pairing, maybe because it's so canon that they're not together and have other people. But the style of this, and perhaps the tense, lets me believe. :) Thanks for writing in the Hex fandom; I enjoyed the read.

I agree. I found it hard to come up with an angle that let me incorperate all of the canon relationships with the one I wanted to focus on. I can't ignore Cassie/Azazeal and Ella/Leon because those relationships have formed such a huge part of the story, but Thelma/Ella... I find it difficult to remember back to how I originally disliked Ella [as a new character]. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this one, it's one of the few Hex pieces I've written that I was happy with when I posted it.

I have been searching high and low for good HEX fanfiction. And you have done it.
Never was too partial to the Ella/Thelma (more of a Cassie/Thelma fan), but you made me like this... so kudos to you. :)

Hee. I dabble (drabble? :P) in the Hex fandom a bit more often these days, so hopefully I'll revisit Thelma/Cassie. I loved them as a pairing in season one but the Thelma/Ella-ness had won me over by the end of season two.
