Ahhhk! :( Adam needs some rescuing. *sigh* I just read The Child Called It. Have you read it? This story reminds me of the child in that book a little bit.

Here is some smiling Adam to make you feel better. I have read that book, years ago, and I can see how you might think it's a little similar. But this situation is employment only, for the "regular" slavery prompt.
