Korra's parents? They basically run the underworld for the entire southern hemisphere, and, even if she's the Avatar, they still raised their little girl in the family business.

How does she put those skills to use?

When Korra is nine she gets to visit her parents for the first time since moving to the compound. The Order hadn’t wanted her to leave, since they never let her do anything fun and seemed to think that her parents were bad people, which is silly. But then Korra’s mom and dad had sent a messenger and Master Katara, mouth set in a thin line, had told her that she would get to go home for a week each month as long as she stayed focused on her Avatar training ( ... )

I love this! Mafia!Korra might actually be the best thing ever. It also makes me wonder if any of the previous Avatars came from families that were... less than legit.
