Wow. That was very well done. (Though you need to up the rating to NC-17, what with the nipple pinching and the virgin blood. At least R.) And you probably should warn for non-con/rape. Hot and horribly conflicted.

It is nicely ambiguous at the end. What was Adria's victory? The seduction, or the fact that Daniel is in control at the end instead of Merlin?

er, yeah on the rating. what does it say about me that I had that written and posted for days before I realized that there was non-con/rape in there that deserved a warning??!! that being said, I meant for this to be a total mindfuck of Daniel.

He drops control back to Merlin at the end, btw. Do I need a beta before I post comment!fic a sentence at the end to clarify that? I think I can put something unobtrusive in there.

reading stories is all about the readers' interpretation. I know what I was thinking when I wrote that last line, but until I make that clear in another story (or it might be clarified somewhat in Resist), then whatever you believe is as true as anything else!

All I could think of seeing Daniel and Merlin merging was surely something of the host survives...
