I'm finally at the final part /weeps But I don't want it to end.

“I’m happy I met you guys.” Koki says.

I don't really know how to put across how I feel ;__;

“I’ll see you, Kame,” he calls over his shoulder, but Kame can’t help but feel that it sounds more like a goodbye than an au revoir for some reason.

I want to know more about Taguchi's backstory in all seriousness and why he ended up in Ueda's group. He feels like a person with many many secrets D: And even though they call one another best friends, I don't think they really knew one another...

I just want to be happy, with you. Is that too much to ask?

His gaze drifts to Nakamaru, and to a rather amused looking chief, before he storms out of the room with a loud yell of ‘Whatever!’ over his shoulder.

Wow. Just, I have absolutely no words to describe what I'm feeling right now. Never in my life have I read such incredibly intense emotional scenes, I just >.<
It was brilliant. I loved loved loved the moment in the hospital- in all honesty, I nearly died, and that moment when Kame stood up for Ueda in the sanctuary. Just, god!!!
Not to mention, I liked how you didn't sugarcoat it, but didnt hold back with anything either. The characters, a specially Kame and Ueda's, were just so perfect and full, and the ending was heartbreaking (what with the cyanide and all). Thank you for forever for writing this beauty!

WOW! That was WOW! Really, really well done anon. It was a very bleak situation/world you put the characters in, and the governments solution to it (lot's of lovely moral questions brought up to ponder on). I'm glad they all made it through (even Toda Erika, somehow :) ) to get their happy endings.

I wish I was better at leaving long rambly comments, because this fic surely deserves it. Thank you anon ♥

There's so much to love in this. The setting, all the characterizations. I thought the end was great too, with everyone going there separate ways and moving on but never being able to forget.

This was one of those rare AUs I never get to read or rather, rarely see complete in all its detail. The horror of it and how you didn't hold back with the effects of the disease were my primary favourites. I enjoyed following Kame through this and that you decided to give it a bit of a twist on their drama characters' personas. Ueda was very Ando Ryuu but you kept an element of Ueda still there. I enjoyed their relationships and the frightening struggle of their having to survive this horrible disaster. I was hooked from the start and your writing is very immersing; I especially feel that seeing it from Kame's perspecting with all his cynicism and his literal fear of feeling actual fear or anything banal, as he'd put it, gave the story just the right sort of edge.

I did deeply enjoy this. All the times I've read it, I should say ;D. Wonderful work, anon.

dkjfnjdkfs; i had a load of fun doing it though. I got like one line in and thought "Oh my god...." because I never actually get the excuse to read something so prolific and so unapologetic in AU. I adored the process and you're great :D
