Wow, what a wonderful feel to this story! It reminds me a lot of a very Fall setting, with the leaves and the cool-aid, and the jumping around! Eeee! So, cute!

This actually reminds me a lot of something Tom and Crow from MST3K would do. Jumping into the leaves while someone was trying to rake them all up. Heck, I can even see it happening on the SOL, eventhough there are no seasons, trees, or leaves in space!

Excellent work, as always. You always do such a wonderful job! And the colors are always so vivid in your work. I can't wait to read the next one!

Thanks so much! It turned out to be a very visual thing for me. I had already decided on the who, and the when, but the setting had eluded me until the prompt came up.

And my apologies for getting the prompt name wrong! I've edited it here and at

Ah, who cares so much about the prompt names? LOL! The fact is, you consistantly come up with beautiful work, and it amazes me and makes me so happy!

You give a lot of life to these characters, and give me a new appreciation. I must say, I was never a huge fan to begin with, but you've done a lot to open my eyes. And that, my dear, is a sign of an excellent writer!

Oh, that's so sweet! It reminds me of my sister and I, when we were really really young, raking leaves in the large yard beside the old shop, and then jumping in them like crazy. Nice work!

Thanks so much! Bringing up memories seems to be what I've accomplished with this one.

Sorry this is so late, but I just read this story, and it made me grin, so I thought I'd mention that. Because really, there's such a playful, free feeling to this story, it was wonderful to experience. Even made me wish for something longer.

Thanks for your comments! It's good to hear that I've managed to capture a playful feeling here, and that the story made you grin. I've been writing drabbles as a challenge to myself simply because I tend toward "verbal diahhrea" when it comes to my writing.

Writing "Tracy childhood" gives a lot of leeway because there's nothing said about it at all on the show, and precious little in the authorized background materials.

( A bit of shameless self-promotion here! I do have something longer that is similar: http://www.ficwad.com/viewstory.php?sid=9783) Hope the mods don't mind!
