::laughs:: Nice! The ending is perfect; I can only imagine I'm gonna be commiserating when my own children get to chore-doing age.

Thanks! I ended up bagging up the garbage today myself... kids just don't think of it unless you actually tell them to do it!

What a cute little slice of life! You're so talented, to be able to do so many different little stories with so much heart to them!

Admittedly, I read this one too fast, and was confused at the end, so I had to go back and read it again. Once I did, though, I realized that he ended up in the garbage because the boys didn't take it out. Am I right?

In any case, it's so cute and funny that I just want to hug it! Excellent work!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you found it so funny! The original scene is like that, too.

In the story, the two little boys get Scott to "test" their own Dad-made "emergency exit" - which slides him out of their bedroom, and into their little go-cart replica of one of the Thunderbirds. The little car takes off, careening wildly, and ends up crashing into the garbage can, where you see Scott sitting at the end of the show. I just took the scene a step further, with Dad coming out all apologetic and bringing up the possibility of a missed chore.

Not canon, just a possible missing scene, and a funny one at that. :)
