all right, I'm saving this so I can read it at home and comment with a bit more than just one sentence ^^ (which doesn't work so well in the uni pc pool :))
Gosh, I never posted that review, did I? I have it sitting on my laptop and I completely forgot *shame* I just now remembered to check. SORRY! I'll bring it with me tomorrow and post it *g*
(Okay, so, hm. Here's the review. Much too late, of course *le sigh* Hope you can forgive me that ^^)
I love how it starts out when Ryan gets released. How hes supposed to be an adult now :) That's a good way to start a story. It made me totally root for him, too.
He rolls up a cigarette and hates himself for a while.
Also, this line kills me, don't ask me why ;)
could beat Choron the Tyrantslayer when he was on a roll like that night.
I enjoyed the detailed description here, and how the way he choses his character tells us so much about Seth. ^^
I liked the bit about the apartment Ryan lives in, it showed a nice bit about how he can make a living for himself, even without Seth's parents (as is canon)
They needed time together, Shelly said, since they'd been having problems.
This is so real-life. I liked that about this bit of fanfic, because it stays so close to reality. It happens so often that relationships break up over time management issues. It's not melodramatic. It just is :D I liked that a lot.
I'm very happy you liked it! Thank you very much. I admit I haven't seen the second season of O.C. for various reasons, but I love-love-love the Cohens, and I'm just happy I could get Ryan to find his way back to them, because quite aside from the money issue they are just good for him. Or that's how I see it, anyway.
