[REQUEST]: Multifandom (hurt)

My request is rather broad - I hope it will be helpful to those taking part in the June contest.
Situation: I'd like to read about a character dealing with physical hurt - anything from a broken limb to torture - to see how that character responds. Suffering provides such opportunities for great character exploration! Comfort is optional, and so is a happy ending. Shoot, stab, bruise, or otherwise give a character an "ouch!" moment, please! :) Gen, Het, Slash, whatever - it's all good.
