Situation: This request has major spoilers for the end of Season 2. If you haven't watched that far yet, you probably shouldn't read behind the LJ cut.

I would love to see an Owen/Toshiko fic that takes place *after* the end of season two. I couldn't stop crying after they both died, and I hate to think of their story being over before it really began. Anyway, there have been all of these references throughout the series that after death there is nothing but darkness and a lurking creature waiting in the dark. I'm kind of assuming that this darkness is artificial and not really what is supposed to be waiting for people. I'd like to see Owen and Tosh work together to fight this darkness and release all the trapped souls to whatever afterlife awaits them. Whether their souls also move on or whether they somehow come back to life or even stick around to haunt the rest of the Torchwood crew, I'll leave up to you. But if you could include at least one tender moment between the two of them in the fic, that would be great! ^_^
