[Request] post-series Banana Fish crossover (details behind cut)
I'm a great fan of the epic shoujo action manga that is Banana Fish by Akimi Yoshida. The series (19 volumes) has now been released in English in its entirety, and...
...well, let's just say, tragic heroes tend to have heartbreaking ends. ;_; ASH. And poor Eiji. Actually, given the Shakespearean scope of the tragedy, one winds up aching for nearly the entire cast.
Now, this is where fanfiction can help us! I seek some (NON-necrophilic, non-zombie, but can be romantic) way of bridging the gap between the living and the dead characters. If it works out, I'd love this to be a crossover with Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness by Yoko Matsushita. (I know YnM's shinigami are assigned to specific geographic areas, but perhaps this could be a special assignment for Hisoka/Tsuzuki, Watari/Tatsumi, or Terazuma/Wakaba?)
If YnM doesn't appeal to you but Banana Fish does, I don't mind your finding some other way of allowing the characters to interact.
