I love this type of AU. I love the way you've set everything up here, really breathing life into this particular verse. Also by approaching it from Mohinder's POV there's this great sense of an outsider on the inside filled with his own uncertainties, wants, regrets, questions. As much as he is a champion for his King and Queen, he doesn't fit in...

But he's bound by honour.

I love the interactions with Sylar that have this air of imbalance yet also unrestrained curiosity. A part of me wonders if Sylar would be able to give up Mohinder at the end of century :-) I'm assuming this is a one shot but I wonder if you'd consider doing a complimentary piece of Sylar and Mohinder's time together...
