I love the idea that eve if there's some unfinished business, Desmond is comforted by his friends (not only Charlie, but Sayid too) and they helped him stop feeling guilty.
Because it's so true that there are "greater forces" at work.

And Boone keeping Charlie in line was really sweet. :)

This is such a great story. Everything rings true-that Desmond would feel the survivor's guilt that has gotten to everyone else; that the ghosts might actually stand to help someone.

Loved the ideas and the writing of this story, it's one of my new favorites already!
