This is excellent work. So few authors are willing to deal with the fact that BDSM interactions don't always proceed smoothly, informedly, or responsibly, and I love the way you've integrated the Cobb/Eames dynamic into exploring a kinky scenario that actually doesn't wind up hot or sexy. Points also for keeping the fallout, especially the emotional fallout, in proportion to the situation and the characters - these two are not the kind to spill their souls to each other.

"I'm sorry," Eames says, even if it sticks in his throat; it isn't something they say to each other often, both of them clinging white-knuckled to their pride.
