What were you so worried about???!?!?! This was completely amazing, perfectly in character, with exactly the right kind of apocalyptic atmosphere. You did a beautiful job with the Master, and your usual masterful (see what I did there?) job with Adam.

"My name is The Master."
"I'm not calling you that."
You had me from minute go! I actually snorted out loud. Fabulous. And yes, the Master IS a bit like a broken record. Like, we get it. Your name is the Master.

I love the contrast between Adam remembering the Daleks (I sometimes get "Exterminate stuck in my head) and the drums. Ohhhhhh the drums. And the passage about the three descriptions of the Doctor were so spot-on.

He wonders if he'll be that irritating in another five hundred years.LOL. Though, sadly, probably not. They've got each other, but Adam's alone. Poor baby

I approve heartily of this pairing. But superficialities aside, really brilliantly done. I particularly love the section where Adam asks the Master who the Doctor is.

I don't even watch Heroes anymore, so I couldn't remember who Adam was. But this was awesome anyway! He was characterized so well that I didn't need to look up where he is in the show.

I had no idea I shipped this pairing until now. It's perfect and too brilliant for words. I love the hint of Ten/Master there at the end too, very nice. :)
