Did you just conveniently cut out Mary from this timeline? I approve wholeheartedly, but perhaps i somehow read it wrong? Anyways...

"This is utterly foolish, illegal and inevitable." Very good line, an attention to detail. The lovely flow of slight alliteration makes looks good on the page and slips off the tongue. The cadence of the words is marvelous.

All and all, a bright and shining little piece of work. I can't recall if you're new to the fandom or not. At any rate, i'll be following your works with a close eye from now on.
