Oh god. Ohgodohgod.

*gets hunk of cheese, hunkers down to gnaw at it and read this whole thing.*

Her blue eyes, vibrant and passionate, promised the world: her fury was enchanting.

SO GORGEOUS.

OMG I DIDN'T REALIZE YOU HAD A MERLIN/ARTHUR EPIC IN THE WORKS!

I CAN'T WAIT TO READ IT! (Busy right now but I am so over this as soon as I can allow myself the time.)

This was one of the better written deathfics I've read. The voice and development was beautifully done~ great job. I'll be commenting on the others too.

This started out so light hearted and relaxed and I really enjoyed those carefree moments of Arthur knowing about Merlin's magic and just not caring. it all turned on a dime with the guards awaiting Merlin and placing him under arrest. Knowing it was Arthur's dawdling that has led to Merlin's arrest

This paints a beautiful, bleak picture of Merlin in the dungeon: His skin looked so pale in this light that it was silver, pure enough to melt and forge; his hair was the night.

He stood near the window but drew closer once he realised that Arthur was there. His smile twitched but wouldn't stick: it slid away.

He didn't say a word. There was such a feeling of gloom, and Merlin telling Arthur not to be sad and not to hate Uther had me believing that whatever he'd planned was not going to include some flashy magical escape. Like Arthur, you still allowed me to hold out hope and now Arthur doesn't even have that wished for chaste kiss with the bars separating them to remember. A Merlin-less tomorrow sounds very sad indeed.
