She shrugged. “They make me feel normal. And it’s only General Hospital. I’ve been watching it since I was like ten. I can’t just abandon Port Charles after everything we’ve been through together.”
He raised his eyebrows. “You actually have time to watch it?”
She shook her head, starting the recording of the soap opera. “TiVo is a beautiful invention. You should get one.”
He put the popcorn on her lap and stood up. “I don’t know. I stopped watching this when they got rid of the original Emily.”
