This is the one that I have, and I just love it. It's meant to be a cushion, rather than a pillow, but I find it gives me excellent neck support (FWIW, I'm a side sleeper). I sometimes feel like I've tried a million pillows, but this one's only now starting to flatten, and I've had it for probably two and a half years now. I use it in combination with an older, flat pillow between my knees which seems to help my back.
I sometimes lie on my back--it helps when I have whole leg pain. Then I just use the second pillow that normally stays between my knees. Maybe two pillows might help you? Or three! (I actually have a third pillow, though that's mostly for the dog who apparently thinks she requires a pillow). Or maybe that would be a huge complication that you don't need. :)
I use a memory foam pillow that allows for two different types of support - looks like a wave - and even though I sleep on my side, I use the smaller hump because I always wake up on my back and find the side hump is too high and throws me out of wack. One thing I have noticed is that if I can keep my upper shoulder propped up when I'm on my side - I use a teddy bear - it makes me less stiff in the mornings. It's easier for me to get up and stretch than if I don't have that support there.
i rotate between pillows. i have a micro-bead pillow that is bespoke for traveling because i CANNOT get comfortable on hotel pillows. (side sleeper here)
at home i have a body pillow to drape my leg and upper arm across, and then i'm either using a micro-bead pillow, a solid memory-foam pillow (with the waves as described upthread), or the new one i just got which is also memory foam, but it's pieces of memory foam.
the memory foam pillows are great but sometimes are hot. (sidenote: i am also menopausal.) and right now since i'm having severe shoulder pain, i've got a combination of a microbead pillow and a solid foam *wedge* so that i can sleep on my back. i'm difficult LOL
They are noisy, not cushy, but man... I would never go back to a regular pillow. My whole body aches after sleeping on a normal pillow compared to these. But they are expensive. I bought mine about 6 years ago and it's still okay, though. If you google "buckwheat pillow" the site that is called perfectpillow is the one that I have.
