Actually that is not correct. My SSI is not enough to pay for Medicare. I have never worked. I am only on Medicaid.

I do not get enough money to be eligible for Medicare. It costs about $200 per month and I do not have that kind of money. It is because I have never worked. I recently talked to the SSA office. Not all get SSI and SSDI. That is what is necessary for Medicare.

I know of others who have CFS and FMS. The CFS started sooner for them too ( ... )

Have you had your hormone levels checked? Low libido is not a symptom of fibro--except that if you're exhausted and in pain you may well not be in the mood. I know my low libido is caused by a hormone producing tumor that raises my prolactin and lowers my estrogen. I take meds to regulate it and my sex drive comes back. Low estrogen can cause other problems so you should have someone check, preferably an endocrinologist, especially if your menstrual cycle is irregular or stops for several months in a row ( ... )

Hello Sarah and welcome to the community. I cannot call myself an expert by any means but I think living with fibromyalgia for any amount of time can produce enough experience to speak from ( ... )

Damn, ya'll need to see my doctors. They practically push percocet down my throat any time I have an ache or pain. I don't currently have an on-going prescription because I refused one because I'm afraid of becoming mentally addicted or dependent or the interactions with my other ten thousand medications.
