Hello there

Hope everyone is as good as they can be today.

May I ask a question?

Does anyone else get cold like symptoms where then are over tired?  For instance, at the moment I have swollen glands, a headache and a sore throat and I don't think it is a cold?

Thanks in advance.

On the other side of the coin, when I go to the doctor for cold/flu/sinus infection stuff, they ask me if I feel achy and have swollen glands. I'm like "I ALWAYS have that!"

People ask me what fibro is like, and I tell them "You know you feel when you're first coming down with a really bad flu? I feel like that every day, and it never goes away."

i have been having these symptoms for months now. during the winter i thought it was a cold/flu. but it never developed into anything.

i thought it was allergies but i can't imagine i would have these kinds of allergic symptoms for months now.

i am not sure what it is. the fibro. a cold that never manifests. allergies. a combo.

whatever it is i am sick of it (literally). LOL

Yes! Me too! Thank you for posting this, I was beginning to wonder if I was losing my mind. It never occurred to me that it might be fibro.

I get flare like symptoms when I over do things. A flare often is flu like symptoms for me. So the answer is, Yes.

Oh, good grief. I'm sitting here with my mouth agape. I have swollen glands, a slight fever, and can barely move around my own home. I'm like this nearly all the time. Everything hurts - all day every day. By the time I work all week, I just sit all weekend hoping I can manage the laundry. Years ago I was told I had fibro, but my doctor now says it does not exist. I will have to follow through on this.

Thank you for this post.
