Wow! That article doesn't even mention the problems that we will be facing from all the mercury going into the environment. Did you know that if you break a CF bulb the EPA recommends a 20 step procedure for disposal? How many people do you know who are willing to go through 20 steps to throw away a lightbulb? So they end up in the trash, then the landfill, and finally our water supply! Yikes! We are switching back to incandescents too.

This is interesting, because I worked in the meat room at a grocery store for 3 years, and I would get these pounding headaches, and I SWORE it was from the flourescent lights and the cold room!

Idk if it has anything to do with fibro. Fluorescent bulbs are a known migraine trigger, often severe, and the specifically bulb-related symptoms you described are dead-on for migraines. I get them myself, have since before FMS ever hit me.
