Going to see my doctor later this afternoon... meant to post this earlier.

I've been on Tramadol since November 2006, and it really isn't working for me much anymore.

Does anyone have any good experience with other painkillers? Any recommendations, or recommendations to avoid?

Vicodin takes the edge off if I sleep on a heating pad and take a really hot bath. Flexeril doesn't do anything for me. The only thing that helps temporarily are trigger point injections. The docs are still trying to figure out a decent cocktail for me. I was just diagnosed in November.

I take Ultram with Hydrocodone, and the combo seems to help.
