I cut MSG from my diet and about four weeks after that, I had half a bag of potato chips and I was in SO much pain the day after. Never again, I tell you. But this does explain a LOT...

OOH! Look what I found. It's a chart telling you what foods naturally have MSG in them, rather than the ones that are added.

http://www.msgtruth.org/avoid.htm

It's easy to read a label and avoid food like potato chips and whatnot, foods that to which MSG is added, but the FDA doesn't require a label for things that have MSG naturally in them. I'm going to start cutting this stuff out, too and see if it helps.

Thank you for this article.

awww there's so much stuff on the list >.<

damnnniitt

it's okay, i mean a lot of it is high fat junkfood. the only thing i actually care about are the peas and the wheat.

i wonder if soy protein powder from whole foods would have added msg. i don't think so. that would suck. i make breakfast bars with that.

i can do the no msg thing again. i used to have migraines (it'll probably turn out to be connected especially since msg aggravated it so much) so it shouldnt be so bad.

thanks for the list!

I know - the list is so amazingly... just... big. I'm going to try to work around it, though.

Good luck!
