Man, I wish I had been able to figure out when/if that was airing on US TV. I'd have loved to watch it. I miss watching the Melbourne Cup.

That's awesome that you picked the winner! I had no idea who to go for, and I ended up being on a bus heading into work when the race was on anyway, so I didn't get to see any of it. I turned up in time to be told they'd just finished the party :(
