Oh, I had thought about the fall-out from it all. *eeeeevil smile* But I don't actually write LoM fic, no! Certainly not anything that might grow tentacles and spiral out of control! *flail*

Yeah, that was what I was going for. That is - I didn't have the criminals inject Gene with an aphrodisiac, specifically, but with a cardio drug, as they have much the same effect on men (hence Viagra being initially developed as heart medication). Take too much, and there is a real chance of very slow, very painful death through a variety of causes, culminating in a heart-attack and various ruptured blood vessels (as the heart would be pumping blood at a much-increased rate, and they likely wouldn't be able to take the strain). I'd love to see a sequel to this, when Gene's recovered a bit and dealing with the emotional fall-out of what happened.
